DBYA MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION
What benefits does a Dunk Basketball Youth Association (DBYA) Membership offer your team?
Membership in DBYA is optional, but here is why you should consider joining:
Insurance coverage for ALL team basketball activities. Includes both DBYA and non-DBYA events as well as:
- Tournaments (does not cover hosting a DBYA event), Leagues, Practices & Games.
- Certificates of insurance/additional named insured for practice sites included in coverage. Most schools require proof of insurance before a team can utilize school facilities. Does your team currently have this coverage?
- The $50 per team insurance charged at all DBYA tournaments is waived...
- The use of DBYA name, initials and/or logo is permitted to member teams ONLY - (i.e. Texas DBYA, California DBYA)
- The ability to link your team web page to the DBYA national website - an additional way to promote your players.
ALL THIS FOR JUST $125 PER TEAM!
No Roster Restrictions:
- You join as a team...
- A team consists of maximum of 15 players and two (2) coaches
- Players may be added or deleted without additional charges. Additional coaches in excess of two (2) can be added at $15 per coach
Membership Coverage:
Excess Accidental Medical Insurance...
- $100,000 Limit
- $500 Deductible
- Includes traveling directly to or from scheduled games, practice sessions or sponsored activity

Comprehensive General Liability...
- $1,000,000 each occurrence
- $2,000,000 general aggregate
- Occurrence Form (this is not a claims made policy)
- Product Liability for food or drinks sold on premises
- Child Molestation
- Coverages are for DBYA sanctioned as well as non-sanctioned organized team basketball events
ALL FORMS MUST BE COMPLETED IN THEIR ENTIRETY AND SIGNED FOR MEMBERSHIP TO BE ACCEPTED. PAYMENT SHOULD BE IN THE FORM OF CHECK OR MONEY ORDER FOR $125. MEMBERSHIP IS FOR TEAM ACTIVITIES ONLY.
